Voting
Procedure:
An independent agency, ADP Investor Communications (ADP),
has been engaged to issue, collect and tabulate returned ballots
and report on ballot results. If you are eligible to vote,
please refer to the ballot you received in the mail for detailed
instructions. If you are certain that you are eligible to
vote and did not receive a voting package in the mail, please
contact Andrea Vecera at (416) 223-9961 or 1 866 763-1654,
ext. 222.
OSPE elections
are structured to ensure a turnover of 1/3 of our Board members
each year. For this election:
- Three
positions are open as a result of the normal rotation.
- One
position is open to replace a Director who is unable to
complete his term.
- Three
new positions will be added, as prescribed by a bylaw change
approved by members at the 2003 AGM. The terms of the new
positions are staggered: one one-year term, one two-year
term and one three-year term.
If
you are eligible to vote in the 2004 OSPE election, you have
two options:
Internet Voting Option:
- Locate
your control number listed in the printed voting package
you received from ADP.
- Visit
www.proxyvotecanada.com and enter your control number where
indicated, then follow the directions.
- You
may vote for up to seven candidates: two for a one-year
term, one for a two-year term and four for a three-year
term.
- Indicate
your voting decisions by checking the boxes of up to seven
candidates. If you attempt to submit a vote with more candidates
selected in any term category than there are positions open
for that category, you will receive an error message.
- Any
subsequent votes will be invalid.
