Are you an OSPE member? Are you an OSPE volunteer? Interested in giving back to the engineering community? OSPE needs YOU!

National Engineering Month (NEM) begins in March and we have several fun and interactive events coming down the pipeline. We’re looking for volunteers like you to lend your time for the following events happening across Ontario:

 Toronto

March 14th – 18th: NEM at the CN Tower

Ottawa

March 12th: NEM at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum

Sudbury

March 13th: NEM at Science North

Network, make a difference and most importantly, share your passion for the profession with others – you can’t go wrong! Interested in helping make these events possible? Please email ambassador@ospe.on.ca by February 19th, 2016 and let us know which event you’d like to take part in.

Volunteers are also needed for the Engineers Without Boarders Toronto Chapter and Girl Guides activities. More information about these opportunities can be found here.

About NEM:

With activities ranging from competitions to socials, NEM’s high profile activities offer something for everyone. Much of NEM’s programming is geared toward youth and aims to encourage greater interest and familiarity with STEM subjects and the engineering profession. The campaign also strives to strengthen bonds within the profession as well as those between engineering professionals and society at large.
