Project Management for Engineers
September 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
This is a virtual offering that runs from 12:00-1:00 PM EDT.
Project management has evolved from an accidental career path into a recognized discipline with a body of knowledge and professional credentials. Engineers often assume the project management role on projects and, indeed, much of the practices, tools and techniques of modern project management developed from projects performed in an engineering environment. This webinar will provide an overview of the most current practices in project management as captured in the most recent edition of PMI”s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) and introduce OSPE’s new course “Project Management Essentials for Engineers”.
After completing the webinar learners will be able to:
- Define the principles of modern project management
- Identify sources for developing their organization’s project management framework and competencies
- Evaluate their qualifications for a project management credential
- Identify project management standards pertinent to engineers
You may be eligible for 1 CPD hour.
