Driving Sustainability Through Green Innovation

This task force considers all sides of sustainability, from ‘green’ buildings to advocating for Qualifications Based Selection (QBS) to government. Recent focuses of this task force have been in the space of green building retrofits, creating a QBS framework, the re-use of concrete aggregates and comparing Canadian infrastructure to Japan to identify possible areas for improvement.

Sustainable Cities Task Force Chair

Carl Bodimeade, P.Eng.

Carl is a Senior Vice President with Hatch Infrastructure, based in Ontario, Canada. He has over 40 years of experience in management, engineering and planning in the water and wastewater, urban infrastructure and brownfield development, and power sectors. Carl is regularly invited to moderate and participate in expert panels on subjects such as infrastructure funding, the value of water, sustainability and urban resiliency. Carl is currently the Chair of OSPE’s Sustainable Cities Task Force.
