Stage 1: Virtual CBA Preparation

Understand and present your international experience through Canada’s Competency-Based Assessment (CBA).

  • Learn to meet Canadian licensure standards through interactive workshops led by licensed engineers.
  • Understand the 34 competencies required across 7 categories, as mandated by PEO and other provincial regulators.
  • Get support to write strong, clear examples that reflect your engineering experience.

Stage 2: Virtual NPPE Preparation

Get ready to pass the National Professional Practice Exam (NPPE).
  • Learn about the key topics on the NPPE including professionalism and ethics, professional practice, and law for professional practice.
  • Become familiar with the NPPE’s format and components.
  • Access vital resources and practice exams.
  • Learn strategies for excelling in the exam, registration tips, and remote proctoring prep.
  • Prepare with expert instruction and targeted group sessions.

Stage 3: Virtual Employment Support

Program eligibility

You are eligible if you:

  • To be considered for the program, candidates must have a CLB score of 7+ in all categories.
  • Hold an engineering degree from outside Canada.
  • Be a Permanent Resident, Naturalized Citizen, Provincial Nominee, Refugee Claimant, or on a work permit with PR approval.
  • Have 4 years of engineering work experience.
  • Have completed or are completing PEO technical exams.
