On your behalf, I would like to work on these initiatives:
- Raise the profile of the engineering profession
- Continue the efforts to repeal the Industrial Exemption to increase worker safety
- Lobby senior government levels to support increased Research & Innovation to develop the new technologies that will drive Ontario’s economy forward
- Stand behind the efforts of the OSPE Energy Committee to stabilize & return Ontario’s electricity rates to be the lowest in North America (as they were when I started my career)
- Have the engineering profession take a lead role in resolving the effects of Climate Change
- Contribute to the sustainability of our economy & economic development
- Board decisions being done in a collaborative way with appropriate risk evaluation & due diligence. Finances to closely scrutinized
- Finally, assist your Board to evaluate all decisions, with you the Member in mind at all times
