Held positions of increasing responsibility in line management roles, from Production Supervisor through Plant Manager to VP Manufacturing; and as Industrial Engineer, Distribution Manager, Quality Control and R&D Manager in staff/support positions. With several of these companies, played an integral, ‘hands on’ role in the successful implementation of modern management philosophies and techniques such as Toyota Sew System. Lean Manufacturing, TQM, ‘Just In Time’ (JIT), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), SPC, MRPII, Set Up Time Reduction, Employee Involvement and Team-Centered Manufacturing, resulting in substantial cost savings and operational improvements.
