Candidate Statement

——
It is a genuine honour to be nominated to be a member of the OSPE Board of Directors. As an engineer with complementary experience in research, industry and government, and significant experience in international business development, I believe I can offer a valuable perspective on a broad range of advocacy issues for Ontario engineers. The profile of engineers amongst the general public needs to be significantly enhanced and engineers voices need to be heard in many different channels of discussion in order to better contribute to evidence-based decision making and in setting public policy. I am passionate about innovation and Canada’s future and have represented Canada in special embassy events in Europe as an invited speaker and innovation expert. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute and to serve my chosen profession directly.
