The Engineering Conference 2022: How to Champion Diversity & Inclusion through Accessibility Policies

True accessibility is more than just meeting minimum standards; it’s about understanding the unique needs of your team and co-creating the right environment for everyone to succeed.

At the 2022 Engineering Conference, OSPE is hosting a panel discussion on accessibility, an often-neglected component of diversity and inclusion programs. This session (From Human Resources to Senior Leadership: How Industry, Government, and Academia Can Champion Diversity & Inclusion Through Accessibility Policies) will explore how engineering leaders can support their employees and foster a safe, effective and welcoming environment for all.

We look forward to welcoming the following industry leaders for this critical discussion:

Nour Hachem-Fawaz (Build a Dream)
Reuben Bruce Murphy (Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission)
Danielle Short (Bruce Power)
Marilyn Wilson (Enbridge)

The Engineering Conference is Canada’s largest engineering, diversity and recruitment event. It takes place November 3, 2022 at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa. Details including live and virtual registration, and partnership information, are available on the conference webpage.
